Filter Out Background Noise on iPhone Calls

Are you ever talking on the phone with someone in a crowded, noisy area? If you’re ever on a call with someone who’s finding it hard to hear you over background noise around you, try turning on Voice Isolation. If your iPhone is running iOS 16.4 or later, you can use Voice Isolation to automatically block out background noise, making your own voice easier to hear.

To turn on Voice Isolation, you’ll need to be in an active phone call already. Once the call is started, simply swipe down from the top right corner of your screen to access the Control Center. Once in the control center, tap Mic Mode and select Voice Isolation. For the rest of the call, your iPhone will block out any ambient noise it detects and amplify your voice instead.
