Protect Your Identity With Apple’s Stolen Device Protection
If your device is stolen, don’t let your identity be stolen with it. Apple’s new Stolen Device Protection makes it more difficult for hackers to access your passwords and other sensitive information in an unfamiliar location, giving you time to mark your device as stolen and secure your data before any damage is done. Follow these simple steps to turn on Stolen Device Protection, so you can better protect your device, data, and peace of mind.
First, make sure you’ve downloaded the latest iOS update and have multi-factor authentication and Find My Device enabled for your Apple ID account. Then open Settings and scroll down until you see Face ID & Passcode or Touch ID & Passcode. Once you’ve entered your passcode, scroll down again and you should see the option to turn on Stolen Device Protection.
