The Power of Apple’s M5 Chip
According to results on the performance benchmark database Geekbench 6, Apple’s recently unveiled M5 chip packs quite the punch. One result uploaded to the site on October 17th gave a MacBook Pro powered by the M5 chip a score of 4,263 for its single-core CPU performance. That’s the highest any Mac or PC processor has ever scored in the database for that single-core performance.
The chip is showing just as much promise in the new iPadPro model unveiled last month—pairing the M5’s raw power with new custom designed N1 and C1X chips, Apple says, has led to “staggering” improvements over the old M1 models. If your current device isn’t delivering the speed you need, you may want to look into purchasing a new M5 powered model.

Making End-of-Year Purchases?
