Downloading Beta Software? Check With Us First.
With Apple’s yearly WWDC event having kicked off on June 10th, many users are eager to try out the latest updates and innovations Apple has to offer. However, we caution our clients against installing macOS, iOS, tvOS, or iPadOS beta releases on primary production devices. Beta software refers to pre-release versions of software that are still undergoing testing and may contain bugs or instability. It's essential to use test devices exclusively for beta software testing to avoid any negative impact on your company’s daily operations.
At Favarger Consulting, we strive to stay ahead of the curve and will advise our clients when these products are ready and compatible with their environment. When the time comes to upgrade your technology, make sure to contact us. Our experts will help ensure your team has a smooth transition to the latest software or hardware, so you can minimize downtime and make the newest technology work for your business.
Adobe Creative Cloud Sync Will Be Discontinued Soon
Adobe Creative Cloud sync, which allows users to automatically save files across devices using a “Creative Cloud” file, is coming to an end in 2024. When it announced the end of Creative Cloud sync, Adobe stated it would be replacing the feature with an alternative cloud storage system. Getting rid of Creative Cloud sync, the company said, is necessary for their plan for “modernizing the Creative Cloud storage experience.”
The feature was discontinued for personal accounts in February, but enterprise and teams business accounts still have access to Creative Cloud sync until October of this year. Read more about what Creative Cloud sync is and what its end might mean for your business here.
