Time to Replace Your Intel Mac

MacOS 26 Tahoe, which is expected to release later this year, will be the last macOS compatible with Intel-based Macs. If your office relies on any Intel-based Macs—including multiple MacBook Pro models, one iMac model, and the 2019 Mac Pro—it’s time to consider upgrading your equipment. Since these devices will be able to run MacOS 26, they’re not obsolete just yet, but this is a sign that the end is near for Intel-based models.

Don’t be caught unprepared when your old Macs stop receiving support. Contact Favarger Consulting and we’ll work with you to replace your outdated equipment. With us in your corner, your office will have a smooth transition to technology that meets your company’s budget and goals.

The Human Factor to Cybersecurity

Your final line of defence against cybersecurity threats is the group of real, actual human beings you work with every day. Investing in cybersecurity tools is a great first step to keeping your data safe, but the best firewalls in the world don’t matter if your team is storing sensitive info on random drives.

Not sure how to get your employees to take data governance seriously? Start small. Assign specific compliance goals to different people based on their regular duties. Telling your team what specific steps they can take to keep your company safe will be much more effective than blanket statements about being “more careful.”

If you need help preparing your team for whatever cyber criminals throw their way, we’ve got your back. Schedule a call with us to take your cybersecurity to the next level.
